2013 Black Expo

Must I say, my time at the Black Expo was time well spent. There were an array of vendors that came from make up artists to boutiques. This weekend event composed of a toddler paegant, a series of empowering speakers, and a car show. The car show was tailored to Corvettes, and hunny, those owners were not playing about their car. If you did so much to look at it, they were prowling you down. No shame to me though, I do this. Ha! I had a blast networking amongst these professionals, black professionals at that. Amongst them, those who stood out were PRPL, a up and coming clothing line, and Angela Brown, a hair stylist and hair guru.

Cupid's BOW and Arrow

This is a dedication to the genius himself, Mo. Much respect and kudos to him as an entreprenuer only at the age of ten. Hunny at ten, I was too consumed with playing dodgeball in the middle of the street or egging the neighbors mailbox! So i salute this little guy for building his own empire at such an age. He is setting the standard for his peers and generation, and everyone else as well. As the old saying goes, age is nothing nut a number, and Mr. Mo just reminded us. He showed the world his face about two years ago now & is still here to stay. I thought i'd spread his legacy on. You can find him here http://www.etsy.com/people/MosBowsMemphis?ref=ls_profile

Eye for An Eye

This color combination is a typical mix, yet eye catching for the summer.
Even though harem pants have been on the scene for a while, I am still in love
with them. For a more toned down look, wear a soft vneck tee, maybe even white.

I fell in love with this sailor look a long time ago and the royal blue blouse
is definitely pulling its weight. The peter pan collar adds the spice and sugar to the mix.
Definitely would wear this piece to a fun night of partying.

Animal prints are not extinct! Adding a hint of green definitely revamped the life
of prints. The leather pants accentuates the bold purpose of this outfit. Rock this look with a
pop of hot pink, even yellow, in the form of a purse or shades.

I am in love with purple. It represents royalty and carries a luxurious swigg
along with it. You must possess a diva attitude while sporting such a color. The polka dot pants gave this color a new identity that I honestly would have never thought of before. I will definetly feel it out.

As you can see, I am addicted to cheetah prints. The purpose for this look was to give
you another idea on how to rock it. My favorite element of it, is the grand fledora. I am sooo
addicted to them. This summer is THAT time to bring them out. The collar necklace, thumbs up for me i recommend you try it.

Valentine's Weekend Recap

I must say Valentine's Weekend for me was pure enjoyment. No, I did not hit the club, thats way over rated to me. I did the things that I love most with the people that come first. From strawberries to chocalate, my weekend was filled with bliss. Without further do, I will let my pictures tell all.

Out on the Town

I recently decided I would not longer sleep til' two and actually see what my city has to offer. Little late but, eachs own! These pictures reflect the Dream Fest Weekend which incorporated a fusion of music and fashion effortlessly. Needless to say, it was a lowkey event that only gurus themselves could appreciate. There were awesome vendors that sold exclusive pieces of accessories that were rocking hunny. You should check them out for your own perspective.
